Last of the Comic Book Cons...

I wrapped up my overdose of comic book conventions (12 in the past 20 months) with Thought Bubble - a one day con where you must target your queues extremely precisely. Barry Kitson and Alex Maleev already had queues six deep before I even got in the door - whereas others had targeted Frank Quitely who it turned out wasn't actually sketching. Charlie Adlard was ten deep all day... My old banter mate Sean Phillips was keeping his queue down with fast but brilliant sketches.

I went a bit wacky and ran with a theme... But that is for another post... The only non-theme sketch I went for was a Nova. I've already nabbed sketches by cover artists Adi Granov and Alex Maleev - and this time managed to nab interior artist Kev Walker (currently on the New York Times best seller list) who drew the absolutely brilliant Annihilation: Nova.
